Namaskaram.
Kashi yatra was the most divine experience with grace and gratitude. Ram Anna and the amount of information that he has and shares about the places that we visited, stories about it, the way of looking at things totally changed. In this yatra we visited so many places that if; i would have personally gone on my own I would have most probably missed those.
There were days when sleep was less, our day began at Brahma muhurtam, and yet, not once did fatigue weigh me down. Instead, there was an unexplainable energy, a force beyond the physical, carrying us through every step of this yatra. It was as if Kashi itself held us in its embrace, allowing us to move with ease,
no words can truly express the gratitude I feel for you Ram Anna and that I was able to join you and fellow yatris on this Kashi yatra. You made this journey not just possible, but transformative.
Kashi doesn’t just change you; it awakens you. And this yatra has been nothing short of a blessing that will stay with me forever.

This was my first visit to Kashi, although I knew about Kashi as the sacred land of Shiva where people go to seek liberation, I never had the slightest idea that there is much more to this sacred land, the way Ram Anna executed the entire Yatra was mind blowing, his knowledge and experience of the sacred spaces became our guiding light, previously I did not even know there were layers to Kashi, and we were supposed to start from the outer layer and reach the inner layer which is a transformational journey in itself. Ram Anna carefully chose the scared spaces which would help us in experiencing the wonder that Kashi is in the given few days of time. I was literally blown away by the energy at multiple places, I feel I would never have experienced whatever I have if I had undertaken this journey by myself. I never experienced grace at such a magnitude. Whatever be the situation everything would get sorted out and there were times when things would just fall into place as if by design, through the entire journey i felt like I was in the lap of grace, Ram Anna being the guiding light he is, a Sadhaka is defintely blessed to be in his presence during this Yatra. Especially if you are a Sadhaka, this is a Yatra which is not to be missed.

The city is very ancient, you can feel the weight of generations, the submerged temples by riverside, the underground temples in the city, which shows the city has been rebuilt many times since the temples were built. But there is also a very strong sense of life and vibrance there, it is a very alive and thriving city. You will wonder as you wander through it’s labyrinthian alleys, lost in the city, but still not feeling afraid, what went through the minds of the people who created this city, how many civilizations have passed since, how much glorious the city was at it’s peak, when it is still so beautiful now. You will have the real glimpse of India in this Yatra, all manner of people, devotees, tourists, merchants, saints, charlatans and Yogis. The Ganga is ever present, flowing beside the city, caressing both the living and the dead. The Manikarnika, the Maha smashanam, the great cremation ground, the final place and a must visit for all people, spiritual or not, for everyone must be reminded of their mortality so that they truly make use of the limited time. The city is packed with temples, Samadhi’s and other consecrated spaces of great variety: Devi, Yogis, saints, Aghoris, Bhairavas, lingas and many other Deities too. This is Shiva’s City and just like him contains the full spectrum of human life, every aspect is explored, nothing is taboo. Exploring this city and finding the energy spaces is a gargantuan task by yourself, it will take you much more time if you don’t have someone experienced guiding you. Ram Anna is very knowledgeable about the spaces, their spiritual significance, the story of how they came to be, how they form an energy network, how to approach each space, in which order, even the danger every aspect is taken care of. You don’t even need worry about food and stay everything was taken care of for me. Though, if you’re like me, food will be last thing in your mind by the end of the Yatra. I would say unless you being personally being taken by Sadhguru, this Yatra is the best way for you to visit the city. I would recommend everyone to come for this Yatra at least once: whether you are a devotee of Shiva, a meditator, just interested in spirituality, a materialist or even an agnostic or atheist. It doesn’t matter. This is a must visit place on earth, not just in India. Shambho 🙏
